Upcoming Thailand BL Series
TharnType: 7 Years of Love
First on our list of the upcoming Thai BL series is the second season TharnType, one of the most anticipated BL series this year. It is scheduled to air on November 6, 2020. This sequel follows the story of Tharn and Type who are now in a relationship for seven years as they face challenges and issues. Will they remain together? Let’s find out soon!
Thonhon Chonlathee
Thonhon Chonlathee is a story of Chonlathee who has a crush on a guy next door, Thonhon. His feelings for P’Thon started when he was still a kid. They’re close and they’re like brothers. Will they end up together? Thonhon Chonlathee will start airing on 13 November 2020.
It looks like there’s going to be a toxic ex-girlfriend here. I hope they don’t dwell much on her character all throughout the series like what Together with Me did to Plern. Hahaha
Gen Y the Series
The casts of Gen Y the Series are mostly from 2 Moons which makes it really interesting. I personally prefer them over the second season’s characters. This is a chance for Kim and Copter to shine although a lot of fans are rooting for Bas and his new screen partner.
Gen Y the Series will air on 11 November 2020.
Manner of Death
The upcoming Thai BL Series Manner of Death has a unique plot. It’s not the usual high school boys BL drama. The story revolves around a medical examiner and a crime suspect who found themselves working together to solve a crime. Will they end up together? Let’s find out soon! I am excited to see Max and Tul again on screen.
Manner of Death will air in November. We will update this post as soon as we get the exact date.
My Bromance 2 The Series : 5 Years Later
My Bromance 2 The Series story is a sequel to the movie My Bromance set 5 years later. Bank discovers that his older half brother, Golf, is alive.
My Bromance 2 The Series will air on 9 December 2020.
Lovely Writer The Series
Lovely Writer The Series is an upcoming Thai BL series about the story of Gene, a writer who has been challenged by his publisher to write a new genre, Boys Love. He accepted the challenge and came up with a well-received Y novel. It then turned into a BL drama and it’s where Nubsib came into the picture. He auditioned for the lead role pretending to be nice and totally opposite of who he really is.
A Tale of Thousand Stars
A Tale of Thousand Stars is an upcoming Thai BL drama about a young man with a heart transplanted from a volunteer teacher who passed away in a tragic accident. The man learns about her past life, secrets, and her promise to a military officer (reports came out that it is now a forest ranger because of a possible backlash) about counting a thousand stars with him.
It is one of the most anticipated Thai BL drama in 2020. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the filming was moved and is now going to air in 2021.
Upcoming Philippines BL Series
Better Days
Better Days is an upcoming Filipino BL series about two childhood friends who work together to revive a business that their parents have built. Will they succeed? Let’s find out soon.
Better Days the series will air on October 30, 2020.
Why Love Why The Series
Why Love Why The Series is a story of two straight men named Benjo and Emil who were tasked to be thesis partners. It was set during the pandemic. The place where they live had been locked down so they were forced to live together for a month. This turn of events paved the way for Benjo and Emil’s sexual awakening.
OH, MANDO!
Oh, Mando! is another upcoming Filipino BL series starring Kokoy de Santos and Alex Diaz. It is scheduled to air next month but there is no update as of now so we’re not sure if it’s going to push through or moved.
UPDATE: Oh Mando will start airing on November 5, 2020.
Upcoming Taiwan BL Series
Innocent
Innocent is an upcoming Taiwanese BL series scheduled to air by end of the year. It’s a story Yu Shi who met an accident and developed a second personality named Noah.
It looks like the plot is quite complex. I am looking forward to how the director will pull this through.
Upcoming Myanmar BL Series
Innocence The Series
Innocence the series is an upcoming Myanmar BL series. I am not sure when is going to air or what the story is all about. I hope they will have an international release with English subs. I am interested in seeing BL series made in Myanmar.
