Syria

The Syrian Arab Republic is a country in Western Asia which shares borders with Turkey, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, and Lebanon. It has a total land area of approximately 183,900 and has some of the oldest cities in Western Asia such as Damascus and Aleppo which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Currently, tourism in Syria has greatly been affected and reduced due to the Syrian Civil War.
