Iraq

The Republic of Iraq is a country in Western Asia. It shares a border with Jordan, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Turkey. Its capital Baghdad is located in the central eastern part of the country. The historical rivers of Tigris and Euphrates run through the center of the country and flow from the northwest to the southeast of Iraq. These two ancient rivers have provided Iraq with fertile land for centuries.
