The first quarter of the year has just ended and it’s time for us to present you what we think are the notable BL series so far. As you already know, the BL genre has gained popularity in recent years. Last year, was probably the most successful year for BL. Here’s what we think are the notable and adorable BL series so far. Some of these have already ended while some are still showing on air.

A Tale of Thousand Stars
We’ve waited a long time for this Thai BL series and it did not disappoint. It just ended this week and it ended witn a bang. It was predictable but definitely adorable. Mix and Earth’s chemistry was on point. They are both lovely on screen.

Lovely Writer
Lovely writer is still airing as of this writing. So far it’s one of my favorite Thai BL series this year. It’s. romantic comedy BL making it light and chill to watch. The chemistry of Up and Kao is so charming. I keep on giggling whenever I see both of them on screen. I am looking forward to the next episodes. I hope it gets better and better.

We Best Love: No. 1 For You / Fighting Mr. 2nd
I wasn’t aware of this Taiwanese BL series but a reader commented in one of our posts that we should consider watching it. I am so glad I learned about it. I was hooked after watching the pilot episode. The first season was definitely something you should also watch.
The second season, Fighting Mr. 2nd is another gem. It is still airing and I am looking forward to the next episodes. Can’t wait to see how Zhou and Gao will make amend of the their relationship.
